When you look out upon your 'spiritual garden' do you seen more flowers or more weeds?

Can you see how God is pruning you? Do you welcome that pruning or rebel against it? Remember that even some weeds are beautiful if looked at correctly.

When you look out upon your 'spiritual garden' do you seen more flowers or more weeds?
Mine is very full. Of both flowers and weeds. But the flowers have thorns too. And the weeds have beauty too. I welcome the pruning so that I can enjoy the beauty even more because of the hard work it takes.

Reply:The less work I do on it, the more weeds spring up! As I tend the garden, some weeds come out easily and some stand firm. In due time I'm sure I will be able to remove these as well with HIs help.

Reply:Now Debra, they are not weeds, the are volunteers, wild flowers and "herbs". Besides, they are all living things and surely have a right to be here. ;)

Reply:my flowers are growing and I have to weed all the time so my flowers can stay alive! yes I agree even a rose is beautiful but oh the thorns it carries can hurt!

Reply:Some flowers, some weeds, but a whole lot of soil and compost, and so many different seeds to choose from that it's hard sometimes to tell if I'm planting medicine or poison...
Reply:Since there is still snow on the ground here I think it's a transition cycle. Remember April showers bring may Flowers!!
