What are good flowers/fruits/veggies to grow??

I want to grow flowers/fruits/veggies in a BIG bucket or the plant box thingies because i don't have good place for a garden or good soil. I need some good plants/veggies/or fruits to grow. Give .llinks if possible adn good ways to take care of them. I also want to grow some type of tree but what are some good things to grow that aren't to terribly hard to grow??

Reply:depends on what climate you live in but carrots and brown onions, also cuccumbers if you have plenty of room. Flowers, again the climate question but daisies and pansies.
