Yesterday, I cut a flower from my garden and put it in a vase of water. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to keep them looking nice longer.
How do you keep flowers nice looking for a long time?
1rst . cut off 3/4 " off the bottom of the stem at an angle with a sharp knife ( no scissors ) 2nd a drop of bleach in the water helps water born bacteria from growing at the cut . 3rd use warm water and change every 3 days . 4th keep out of direct sun and or windy areas this should keep your flowers looking good for 7 to 10 days . Wife told me to send this bit of advice to you she works for a florist .
